Blue has been a dominant color throughout the year as I in fact stated 8 months ago, when still preparing the calendar for the year.
A cold color that can be at times strong and icy while other times as sweet as a child’s play, blue has influenced us for the last couple of months.
Here is a wedding very dear to us located in the enchanting mids of the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens on a hot day of June. As the location took place in one of the outdoors gardens which was not disclosed until the last minute we found ourselves wandering about the Gardens with baskets full of petals and eyes full of wonder.

The bride wore a sweet bouquet of light blue hydrangea and dreamy freesias. The last peonies of the summer had their moment of glory in this delicate and feminine bouquet.

A blue cameo was added to the bouquet handle as a family heirloom while a water source keeps the flowers hydrated throught the day. The bridesmaids held cute miniature crystal calla bouquets

Light blue hydrangeas in lose arrangements stood against the blazing afternoon sun awaiting their romantic candle lit dinner moment.
