What flowers become

In the previous post my 400 roses were sitting quietly and drinking before the big day.

This is how they were presented on Saturday, for the Battery Gardens Restaurant wedding. It is important to say that this was a brunch wedding, which means that the rules of Floral Design had to be adapted to such a sunny occasion.

We were delighted to find this wedding featured in more detail with full images of the couple and much more by Mariann, the genius behind Blue Daisy Weddings. She featured this Battery Gardens Wedding in her blog. Thank you Marianne! I would also like to take the opportunity to thank my absolutely fantastic couple, Emily and Dirk for being such a gracious pair of romantic souls. Thanks also go to our fabulous and extremely accomodating maitre’d, Eddie, who made our first experience with Battery Gardens such a breezy test.

  1. Fantastic flowers: lush yet simple and very feminine. I especially like the ceremony decor, which is very exquisite. Post more pictures please.
