Staying Dry with a Cup of Old, Plain Nostalgia

Tropical storm followed by snow storm. Who knew!

With the snow storm at my steps and having nowhere to go (the store in Hoboken is closed for a while, since the basement needs some work), I can not stop being all flowers, so here is a wedding from some time ago. This wonderful intimate event took place at the Frank’s Waterside and was a pleasure to design. The colors were strong oranges and purples and the flower choices all crazy and creative.The bridal bouquet featured Circus roses, mokara orchids, callas and purple lisianthus, but my favourite has been statice. While statice is one long forgotten and dreaded flower of the 2000s, I think that we can actually help this little fellow come back to the luxury world with some good company.
